The 1st Weekend

Well the first weekend went well I missed one workout. It was a 2500m swim, I am not to hard pressed about it it was on saturday I got the 2.5hr cycle in which was of high imporatnace and by the time I finished work on sat the pool was closed. Either way after swimming today I am over my previous monthly swim totals and I still have a week and a half left of March. The Sunday run this week was short only 55 mins but I can see they get longer really quickly so I enjoyed it while it was short. I got my run done sunday night at around 9. It was a beautiful night, completly still, and just the right temp. It was a really good way to release all the stress of the week from school, work, and just other life stuff. I feel really refreshed today and ready to tackle another week.

I picked up an Ipod shuffle today. Fpund it on kijiji for 20 bones! Pretty good deal to have tunes anywhere. I have an I pod but this thing is so tiny I can just clip it on anywhere its perfect.

But it is crunch time at school and I have studying to be doing.

The first work week

Well its been intense but I have made it through the first week of work, school, and the new training program. The program right now seems to be building duration. It is really beating my body up every day has 2 workouts. I have been wearing my skins to help with recovery and man do these things work great!!! Other then that I felt I have been able to keep up and manage the workouts well. I noticed i have also developed quite the appatite. Which makes sense i am burning a substantial amount of more calories. Overall its good to be back on a strict schedule keeps me focused. It will really be nice when school is over and I am really able to put all my focus into the race season. Highlights of the week included my first outdoor ride of 2010 it was extremly windy 40 gusting 50 made it hell but it was a nice change form the trainer. And I had a really powerful swim workout today which was nice. Swimming has become one of the most enjoyable of the three disciplines I can really feel how my stroke has improved since the I started swimming regularly. I am looking forward to see how I am able to cope with the weekend schedule and the training. Here we go again!

Here we go

So its now 20 weeks till calgary and I am signed up with mark allen online. I completed my first day today and it went very well. I have been doing a pretty good job of maintaining my fitness until now so it was not hard to ease into today. Other then that I am going to try really hard to write in here for the entire 20 weeks even if it comes down to only once a week the mid term month of school really just became over whelming and ate up all of my time. And I started my new job at woodcock. There have been some major adjustments to my schedule and now I feel I have them under control enought to get back on here. There are only 3 weeks left of school and 20 weeks left till calgary so wish me luck. Here we go!
